The mission of Safe Connections is to reduce the impact and incidence of relationship violence and sexual assault through education, crisis intervention, counseling and support services.

Initiated in 2015 by Ryan Kelley, the Climb for Kids is an annual charity event that puts the participant in extreme conditions with a grueling objective. The focus every year is to raise funds to help children in need.

Whether it’s children battling cancer or them living through the day to day fear of domestic abuse, kids facing hardship need support from anyone caring enough to help out however that may be.

On August 20, 2017, Karolina Zavisiute will attempt something that most people wouldn’t dream about.  She’s planning to run a marathon up Pike’s Peak to raise money for children in need.

Karolina will make her attempt at the run, a 7,815-foot elevation gain on a single person path,  starting in Manitou Springs, ascending the mountain, and returning to the beginning.
